I would like to formally introduce myself. My name is Destinee Steele and The Beauty Menagerie is a self-made business that I have created as a result of my extensive training and love for hair.

What Is Processing Turn-Around Time?

Processing time varies based on what you order!

Eyelashes, Bundles, and Velvet Grips are readily on hand and take 1 day to process.

Our hair units (both Lace-Front and Lace-Top’s) are created by hand and are made to order. To ensure our products meet the gold standard the processing time is anywhere from 3 to 14 days. We will keep you updated every step of the way!

Once shipped, our products will arrive within three to five days from the shipping date!

What is your return policy?

All of our pieces are designed with you in mind! Prior to ordering, we implore you to properly measure for your Wig Cap. For your convenience we have included detailed instructions here.

All pieces can be returned within 30 days of our ship date, with a 15% restocking fee so long as the lace is uncut and the hair has not been altered in anyway. To begin this process, please ensure all return requests are submitted via e-mail to [email protected] along with pictures of the merchandise and the reason for the return and our team would love to help remedy the situation.

Do you only carry natural black hair or do you have other colors?

We currently have natural black units on hand but we are willing and able to build a custom piece for you; any length, texture, and color. Build and shipping time will be a little delayed if we have to custom order hair.

Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, however, please contact us at [email protected] prior to completing your purchase so that the proper shipping costs can be applied and an individualized invoice can be submitted to you.
What type of hair care products should I use?

Our hair is 100 percent human (unless otherwise requested) and should be treated as your own hair. Using a good quality shampoo and conditioner in really important to keep the hair soft and shiny. Gel, mousse, and other styling products are completely fine to use as well.</p>

Can I exchange or cancel my order?
Sure, but you would need to contact us within 24 hours of the purchase via email at [email protected] any time closer to the shipping may result in a processing fee.
Can I request a glue-less band?
Yes! In the special request section note if you want us to send you an elastic band or attach it for you. All of our pieces are equipped with three secure combs unless requested to not be included.
Whats are some helpful hints to taking care of my unit?

We look to have helpful videos up soon but in the meantime, brush your unit while wet from the bottom up. When washing, Comb shampoo and conditioner through the unit. DO NOT scrub. Whenever applying heat, use a thermal protector to extend the life of the hair.

How to I take care of the lace?
We use some of the most delicate lace which is why it melts and can be camouflaged so easily. Leave a half an inch of lace in-front of the hair line and add your foundation to the lace. As natural wear and tear happens, you can snip at the lace little by little and can even wear it behind your own hair line if you want. When it is time to clean the lace, use a toothbrush and 91 percent rubbing alcohol and clean the lace from the inside using small circular motions.
